one thing I've read in revelations dealing with the end times and the "signs" says something about "a child being borne without a soul" I take this to mean human cloning and the succesful attempt of. We can maybe create another body, but does that mean they have a soul? Does the mere creation of a body create a soul? Just a thought

That's not in Revelation - maybe some other prophecy? It sounds more like Nostradamus.
I don't have the answer to your question but it is certainly food for thought.

goodness your right. I could have sworn I read that in revelation, I guess I read too much sometimes, as I occasionally forget where I read something. That bugs me, I wish I could find where I read it 'cause it really stuck with me. There were a few things mentioned along with it, that also sounded interesting as well. Does anyone out there know what this prophecy is from? It does deal with signs of the end times, and there were some others to go with it. Perhaps nostradamas, I'm a bit confused now. I don't touch my bible much, (it's not my first choice in reading materials for shure :-)lol), but I could have sworn I read it in the bible, but I know I didn't imagine it. If anyone knows of this, I beleive the others that go with it (prophecies) are almost equally as interesting. I never take anything at face value, but look at everything I read and see as a possible piece of something, much in the same way several people can watch the same traffic accident and get several different versions of what happened, I beleive this is much the same. A person needs to hear the many versons of what happened and what is happeneing before they can start to get the whole picture of what is going on. I haven't gotten that picture together yet but I've got many of my puzzle pieces flipped face up, and am now starting to try and fit the pieces together, only I don't know what the picture is supposed to look like. (my silly analogy of my struggle). I am not a know it all, certainly don't hesitate to call me wrong, I would rather be wrong and inspire a conversation, than be right and post one sided messages. I welcome and encourage conversation. Love and Peace. tim

I seem to remember either reading this or hearing it mentioned , it might have been from one of the guests on coast to coast. I kind of think it was, but I'm not sure.

Okay. Please take your Bible out! Look up Ezekiel 18:4.
THe soul that sinneth it shall die. Souls die. biblically speaking.
Perhaps you are wondering do we have souls. The Answer is...NO! We are souls. Hebrew the word for soul means living creature. In Greek it the same. Genesis 2:7, God breathed into his nostrils and became a living soul or creature. So when we die..we are asleep. jesus said death is a sleep. SO I believe Jesus. WHen we sleep, we are not aware of surroundings. More verses to look up! Ecclesiates 9:5-10; Psalm 146:3-4; If you want more please write me at my email. I will gladly give them to you.
Peace.

The child being born without a soul is from the movie _The_Seventh_Sign_. In that movie the place in heaven where pre-incarnate souls waiting to be born runs out of souls. Although at the same time many prophecies from Revelation are being fufilled, the main plot is not Biblical, despite being sufficiently interesting for a two hour movie. The movie uses lots of stuff that the writers knew was not in the Bible, and probably not in any respected propheecies what-so-ever. Its just to make a plot that would sell movies, as if you couldn't do this based on real prophecy. This is particularly annoying because I have heard that the producer got a lot of Christians to work for sub-standard wages as a service to God/Christ/Church, so they weren't even truthful about being motivated by pure greed.
